Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Escalate unresolvable issues to the appropriate internal contact with a full context summary.
- Document every customer interaction in the client CRM with accurate, concise notes.
- Stay current on all client product updates and policy changes through the internal knowledge hub.
- Adhere to approved messaging templates while adapting tone to each individual customer's situation.
- Diagnose and resolve customer inquiries using approved knowledge bases and resolution workflows.
- Participate in weekly async team stand-ups via company communication platform.
- Handle de-escalation situations calmly and professionally without supervisor involvement when possible.
- Identify patterns in customer feedback and surface them to the team lead for product improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week during a consistent shift schedule.
- High self-discipline and output consistency without direct in-person supervision.
- Ability to keep multiple browser tabs and chat windows open simultaneously without confusion.
- Personal computer (PC or Mac) less than 5 years old and a wired/WiFi internet connection of 25+ Mbps.
- No prior customer service experience required — structured paid training is part of onboarding.
- US residency or work authorization required.
