Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Escalate unresolvable issues to the appropriate internal contact with a full context summary.
- Document every customer interaction in the client CRM with accurate, concise notes.
- Stay current on all client product updates and policy changes through the internal knowledge hub.
- Maintain a client satisfaction score consistent with or above the team benchmark.
- Participate in weekly async team stand-ups via company communication platform.
- Identify patterns in customer feedback and surface them to the team lead for product improvement.
- Manage multiple simultaneous inbound chat conversations across client platforms with professionalism.
- Complete assigned chat shift without exceeding response time SLAs on any open conversation.
Requirements
- Personal computer (PC or Mac) less than 5 years old and a wired/WiFi internet connection of 25+ Mbps.
- High self-discipline and output consistency without direct in-person supervision.
- Typing accuracy of at least 45 WPM with the ability to maintain speed across multi-hour shifts.
- No prior customer service experience required — structured paid training is part of onboarding.
- Ability to keep multiple browser tabs and chat windows open simultaneously without confusion.
- Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week during a consistent shift schedule.
